PB November Challenge #24

Hi, papercraft friends,
Welcome to our November challenge.

It’s getting closer to Christmas. Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? If you have, you’re doing way better than I am. If you haven’t, hopefully, this challenge will help you create at least one gift for someone special in your life. But I’ll tell you more about the challenge theme shortly.

October Challenge Winners

We had an awesome 41 entries for our last challenge! The fantastic thing is, 35 of those entries ALL followed the challenge theme. I love that!

Thank you all so much for playing along with us. Let’s see how you go with this challenge theme. I think it will definitely challenge you as I know it did with some of the DT ladies 🙂

Our DT member, Lesli, has had the privilege of picking out our winners this month & she has also taken the time to give you all a little feedback with why she chose the winners.

Remember, if your name isn’t mentioned this time around, don’t be disheartened as we’d love to see you giving it another go this month.

As mentioned, the winners this month have been chosen by Lesli Giertuga & this is her message to all the participants.

First congratulations to all of you who played along with us this month!  You are all winners for creating and sharing your creativity!  Please keep coming and playing along with us – we truly love to read your posts and see what we inspire! Lesli.

Prize Winner:
Congratulations to Henriette @ Henriette Van Mierlo (#18)
You have been randomly selected to receive the October Challenge prize. Please email me (address on rules page) with your postal address by the 15th of November 2019 to claim your prize.

Ultimate Designer:
Congratulations to Adriana @ Scrapbooking Engineering (#11)
You are our Ultimate Designer Winner for the October Tag You’re It! challenge.

Lesli’s message to you Adriana: WOW, what a great album – It is monochromatic that includes several wood papers, which are offset by light vellum die cuts.  This little album has it all!! There is stamping, inks, ink splatter, dies cuts, inking, crystal drops, full pages, half pages, pocket pages, shakers and that just off the top of my head. This book with the tone on tone has a lot of detail and is a show stopper!! She has included 2 stamped tags in her album. If you haven’t tried making a mini album – this entry will inspire you to try!

Top 5 Winners
Nominated for the Top 5 Winners in order of placement are:

1st – Congratulations to Chris (#14) @ Here’s One I Made Earlier
Lesli’s message to you Chris: Chris is a Crafter after my own heart. She dug battered corrugated stars from her drawer, added snow text paste, layers of die cuts, scraps of ribbon & the odd brad, as it is described from the blog. These tags are so cute & layered together with balance & a great colour scheme. The paste on the corrugated stars is on point and makes the tag POP!  So before you toss all those odds & ends – create!!

2nd – Congratulations to Henriette (#18) @ Henriett Van Mierlo
Lesli’s message to you Henriette: Henriette created a tag pair that are stunning.  There are multiple layers on the tag to create interest and the coordinating papers have the richest colours. She has fussy cut some elements to finish the tags detail. Great work!

3rd – Congratulations to Gail (#34) @ Crafty Nomad
Lesli’s message to you Gail: I was drawn to this tag because it has in interactive bat you can open to see the sentiment Boo. The base of the tag has stenciled bats as well. With Halloween around the corner – this is a great addition to the Pillow Box it was attached to – I am sure it’s for holding Halloween treats! Yum! Sometimes simple and interactive are amazing!

4th – Congratulations to Teresa (#25) @ Red Obsession Cards
Lesli’s message to you Teresa: Teresa created a super cute card that many of us would love. She printed out a digital stamp and coloured it up. Layered it on a tag & added a bow & brad. Her image is of a woman beside a coffee mug as large as her wearing bunny slippers. The saying – coffee saves lives, ask my kids.  Thanks for sharing, this was too cute.

5th – Congratulations to Pillan (#2) @ Pill’s Card & Toys
Lesli’s message to you Pillan: Pillan cut a tag with cross-stitching from a die. She die-cut a sentiment, and foliage which she coloured. She added rhinestones and roses. There is a photo where she staples it to a gift bag. Simply attached but looked so great!! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you all SO much for your entries. All winners, please email me (address on rules page) to claim your prize &/or blog badges. Thank you 🙂
