PB Challenge #26

Hi, papercraft friends,
Wow! What a busy month January has been! Can you believe that we’re in February already? It only feels like it was only a few days ago lol.

We’ve decided to add a little extra avenue for you to get as much DT inspiration as possible. From now on, not only are we going to give you the links to the Design Teams blog posts, but we’re also going to give you the links to our personal YouTube video’s too!

We thought that by sharing our YouTube video links, you’ll be able to get a better, actionable insight & a closer look with how our DT projects were created. What do you think?

I encourage you to check out the videos, like, comment & subscribe to the DT’s YouTube channels. They would love your support, love to hear from you & they would certainly  love for you to be part of their own YouTube community too by subscribing.

You could also show your support to them by sharing their videos with your other online friends that love papercrafting as much as you do 🙂

Wow! Friends, you just love an Anything Goes challenge, don’t you? 🙂 We had a whopping 66 entries in our January challenge! We are so pleased. Thank you so much for playing along with us.

Our DT member, Erika Breslin, has had the privilege of picking out our winners this month & she has also taken the time to give you all a little feedback to the winner with why she has chosen them.

Erika’s message to you Jackie: This is such a whimsical and magical card design! The layered lattice gives it depth, and I love the jewel toned blue behind it. But my favorite part is the attention to detail to the girls dress and delicate beading around her head and body. A+!

Erika’s message to you Valeria: I love how you made a monochromatic card colorful! It’s shimmering with holiday magic. The several layers of texture so not overpower each other, and give it a feel of being in the middle of a winter wonderland.

2nd – Congratulations to Karthikha (#38) @ K’s Kards & Krafts
Erika’s message to you Karthikha: This is so adorable. I love the color scheme you choose! The fussy cutting is perfect, and the pop of white the scalloped edged gives is just what it needed.

3rd – Congratulations to Maryann (#9) @ Maryann Scrapbooking
Erika’s message to you Maryann: What a well balanced project. I love the idea of a masculine card. The fir cutouts are so delicate. My favorite part is that the embossing does not overpower the 3D elements.

4th – Congratulations to Ramani (#45) @ Ramani’s Craft Works
Erika’s message to you Ramani: What a unique design! It’s lovely and fun. I especially love your color work through the stencil, and blending it out through to the edges gives it a soft and finished feel. The gradient is gorgeous.

5th – Congratulations to Marjeta (#16) @ Marjetina’s Creator Shop
Erika’s message to you Marjeta: Wow what a fantastic project! This layered box is exquisite. It is obvious a lot of time and effort went into this creation. The lace accents complement the baby theme so well, who is nestled gently in between in all. She looks so snug and at peace, like she is tucked in ready for bed. Bravo!
